Since its launch, the model from the premium ROG Strix series is one of the best not just in the ASUS range, but it is one of the best gaming cards ever. The pros include top performance, excellent operating characteristics and a significantly oversized radiator. The only disadvantages, on the other hand, are the extreme price and by far the worst price/performance ratio in test. Rating 9.1 out of 10 possible.

The card itself is hard to blame today, because there is nothing better on the market. The 2080Ti is an excellent graphics card with excellent power and still decent performance. Tested ASUS ROG STRIX variant can be mainly in a quieter Q-mode quiet enough, and therefore excellent. So I have nothing to reproach the RTX 2080 Ti in the ASUS STRIX top version.

It’s both fast out of the box and also able to handle a hefty overclock. We could add an extra 145MHz to our card before experiencing any instability, and even without a manual overclock we still saw the Strix run 2-5FPS faster than Nvidia’s Founders Edition card.

Asus delivers a great GeForce RTX 2080 Ti worth of its reputation. Gamers concerned about noise will be glad to have a GPU much more silent than Nvidia's Founder's Edition - via a very convincing Quiet mode. Those who want to manually overclock their GPU will have to use the Performance mode that will unleash power horses on the cooling system and allow to go even further into Overclocking.

So, it was quite the pain to establish the best.We then started bumping the GPU clock to see which card could produce stable runs at the highest clocks. The ASUS card turned out to have the most highest stable OC. We managed to get it to run at 175 MHz over stock frequency while the others would freeze.

It was a great surprise for me. ASUS graphics cards could not boast some extremely low noise, but with the arrival of ASUS Strix RTX 2080 Ti O11G Gaming they already can. When you switch it to Q-mode, things start to happen. Actually they will not start, you'll not hear this card from now on, and if you do not have RGB LEDs turned on, you will not find it in the dark afterwards (exaggeration).

Extreme performance at extremely low noise levels and excellent performance/watt ratio, but at a really extreme price. Nothing for a rational thinker, for a price/performance ratio you can not even think, but if you have forty thousand crowns for spare, you hardly get a better card.
